Dallas Mosquito Control
Mosquito Control for Dallas Yards
North Dallas Landscapes provides recurring mosquito control for Dallas-area homes and commercial properties. Each visit fogs the property to knock down active mosquitoes and treats standing water and other common breeding sites so the population doesn’t keep replenishing itself. Choose the schedule that fits your yard — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — through North Texas mosquito season (about March through October). As the same company that handles your lawn, we let you control mosquitoes without adding another vendor to manage. What's included in a mosquito service visit?
Effective mosquito control attacks the problem from two directions on every visit:
Fogging the property — we fog the yard to knock down the active, biting mosquitoes resting in the shaded, humid spots where they hide: under shrubs, in dense beds, beneath decks, and along fence lines. This is the part you feel immediately, because it clears out the adults already in your yard.
Treating standing water and breeding sites — fogging alone only addresses the mosquitoes that are already flying. The reason a yard rebounds is that mosquitoes keep breeding in standing water — clogged gutters, plant saucers, low spots, drains, and other overlooked spots. On each visit we find and address these common breeding sites so the next generation never gets going.
Tackling both the adults and the breeding sites is what keeps a yard usable through the season instead of bouncing back a few days after treatment. You pick the frequency, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and we run that schedule for you through the season.
When should mosquito control start in Dallas?
Start early, ideally before the first warm, wet stretch in March or April, and continue on a recurring cycle through October. Beginning at the front of the season suppresses the first breeding generations, which keeps populations lower all summer rather than chasing an explosion in July. We schedule the recurring visits so you don’t have to remember to book each one.
Frequently asked questions
What does a mosquito service visit include?
Each visit has two parts: we fog the property to knock down the active mosquitoes resting in your yard, and we treat standing water and other common breeding sites so the next generation doesn’t replace them. Handling both is what keeps a yard usable instead of rebounding days later.
How often do you treat for mosquitoes?
We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly schedules through North Texas mosquito season (roughly March through October). Weekly gives the most consistent knockdown for heavily shaded or mosquito-prone yards, bi-weekly is the popular all-around choice, and monthly is a lighter-touch option, we’ll recommend the right fit for your property.
Will you match my current mosquito service’s price?
Yes, where we can. If you’re already paying for a mosquito service, tell us the price and we’ll match it where possible, with the added benefit of one company handling both your lawn and your mosquito control.
Is mosquito control safe for my kids and pets?
Yes. We ask that people and pets stay off the yard while we fog and until it’s dry, after which it’s safe for normal use.
When is mosquito season in Dallas?
North Texas mosquito season generally runs from March or April through October, driven by warm, humid weather. Starting treatment early in the season keeps populations lower all summer.
Do you treat for West Nile-carrying mosquitoes?
Our visits reduce overall mosquito populations on your property, including by removing the standing water where disease-carrying species breed. Property-level control complements, but does not replace, county vector-control efforts.
Can you add mosquito control to my existing lawn service?
Yes. Mosquito control is a recurring add-on that runs with your existing maintenance, same company, same crews, one relationship, one fewer vendor to manage.
